Please take a look around our site and learn more about the fastest growing sport in the country, LACROSSE. Lacrosse is quickly catching on in North East Pennsylvania, and the SYLA is helping organize programs for boys and girls in the Greater Scranton Area. We field teams in the spring & early summer (main season,) as well as run camps & clinics year round that kids from any youth programs can attend. 2012 Summer Lacrosse Camps & Clinics

To all lacrosse players and parents.
 
Below you will find some basic information regarding upcoming 2012 summer camps and clinics in our area. You will also find direct contact information for each one. These camps and clinics are a great way to keep active in the sport of lacrosse when our season ends. You will be learning the game and  some new skills from the best coaches in our area. This information will also be available on the home page  of our website for your future reference. I encourage all of our players to try and take advantage of one or more of these lacrosse opportunities. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Pocono Lacrosse Evening Camp
6 – 9pm June 3rd, 4th, & 5th, 2012
Marywood University Turf Field
2nd - 8th Grades
$90 if registration and payment is received by Monday 5/21
 
Description: This camp will include instruction from the Marywood Men’s Lacrosse Coaches and Players. Campers will learn essential skills according to need, introduced to some advanced concepts in order to grow as a player, and will compete in various drills and games. Each camper will receive individual instruction and coaching. All groups will be broken up by skill level. Everyone will be provided with a jersey.
 
Stick and all equipment. If something is needed please call ahead as we have limited extra sticks/equipment.

Muddy River Lacrosse
9am – 4pm June 12-15, 2012
Kings College, Betzler Fields
Boys ages 7-17
$175 per child
 
Description: Campers will be broken up in groups by age and experience. We offer a great learning environment with college coaches (Andy Orloski, Kings Mens Head Coach) and players.

Description: Camp Gonzo is designed to show players how to practice perfectly in their own time. We help players revisit what makes the best players in the world so successful. Learn from 3x NCAA All-American and World Lacrosse Games Player, Lou Gonzalez and Staff. We have instructed thousands of players from all over the USA, Spain, England & Canada.

Our staff’s goal is to improve your game with a unique lacrosse experience designed to help any player get to the next level.  Campers receive a high level of instruction in all positions of the game including Attack, Midfield, Defense, and Goalie. Our World Class Staff will provide campers with every tool they need to become a better lacrosse player.
